"How can I personalise/customise the new BBC homepage?"

The new homepage provides a customise location option which allows you to tell us where you are by clicking on the place-name in the banner next to the clock. We will then show you the weather forecast and local news for that location. When our new travel news module is available, you'll also be able to see relevant, local traffic and travel information.

You can also change what is displayed in the top half of the page by choosing more from entertainment, lifestyle, knowledge or news and sport from the selection area underneath the main window or ‘carousel'.
