"How can I get subtitles on my TV?"

The BBC aims to subtitle all of its TV programmes. ITV, Channel 4 and Channel 5 also subtitle the majority of their programmes.

On digital TV, subtitles are available on all platforms. Your remote control may have a Subtitles button. Otherwise, go to the set-up menu and select 'Subtitles' (usually found under 'Languages'). You can record digital subtitles along with the programmes.

Subtitles are also available on BBC iPlayer.
