Why does episode 3 of Wallander appear to have been broadcast on BBC Four on Wednesday 14 October 2009 instead of episode 2?
The current repeat broadcasts of Wallander on BBC Four are not being shown in the order they originally were, and this is causing confusion among some viewers.
The first broadcast of the series was shown slightly out of sequence, as the first two episodes broadcast were specially selected to be shown as part of a short season of programmes on BBC Four at that time. However, the current repeat episodes are being shown in their correct chronological order.
Some viewers were expecting the episode ‘Mastermind', originally the second episode broadcast on BBC Four, to be broadcast on Wednesday 14 October 2009. However, ‘Mastermind' is actually episode 6 in the correct chronological order of the series and will therefore be broadcast on Wednesday 11 November 2009.
