BBC Help

I've downloaded an mp3 but I can't hear anything. What could be the problem?

After you've downloaded an mp3, or received a podcast, it may not play automatically. In order to play an mp3 you will need a media player installed on your computer.

Have you turned on your speakers, and turned up the volume?

If your media player indicates that the mp3 is playing but you still can't hear anything, check that your computer's speakers are on and that the volume is turned up. Be sure to check that all cables from your computer to your speakers are plugged in correctly. If you can access your computer's sound card settings, you should also check that the output of both 'master volume' and 'wave' are set to reasonable levels.
