BBC Help

When I try to set my location on the bbc.co.uk homepage using a county, it's not recognised. Why?

The homepage uses postcodes and town names rather than county names because the information we supply is specific to a small area. For example, the weather forecast for the east of a county could be quite different from that for the west of the county.
